However I felt my sheet fell short in so many areas, for example using very old Sonic 3 sprites and even sprites clearly recognizable from the Sonic.exe Series (because let's face it with over 100 fangames, 4 creepypastas, millions of pieces of fan art, yeah it's a series at this point.) However with a sheet that big managing it was a nightmare and thus one sprite would overlap another, and I'd merge that down accidentally requiring me to restore the below sprite, blah, blah, blah. It was intended to be the answer to two earlier spritesheets, Sonic 1 Expanded by and Sonic 2 Expanded by Aureumber, Void the Bat, WizToad, and You Gotta be Joshing me (yes that's their name) The 'Ultimate Sonic 3 Spritesheet' which I know got positive reception on DA but after looking at it and going through utter hell to manage all the sprites, I decided it wasn't worth saving and so I sort of left it behind and never touched it again.
